Hi Gurus,

Could someone please share best practices to write effiecient SQL queries in Teradata enviornment.

Or can someone point to the Terdata manual which tells about this. I feel there is not enough material which tell as to how a SQL is interpreted by Teradata optimizer. And how a poorly written SQL impacts performance.

As there is lot of knowledge available in cyberspace around writing Oracle SQL, but not all that is applicable to Teradata environment. So it would be great, if Teradata seasoned experts can shed some light and share pactices around SQL writing.
