Hi All, I have created a join index on multiple tables. The query that I am trying to run uses a case statement of the sort Case when Bothe column1 and column2 are present in the join index. However when I use this in the select the optimizer stops using join index. I would also like to mention that column1 is present in multiple tables in my join index so I had to use alias name for that to get join index created. Can someone suggest me why join index is not used by the optimizer. Or suggest me how to avoid using alias. Thanks & Regards Mohammad Usman Baig
