Not sure if you are using the term FTP very loosely here.

I'm assuming you want to download the data from a https URL. and not actually use the FTP protocol.

Just trying to be clear, _sometimes_ the term FTP is used as a substitute for "Data Transfer", But oftentimes it is associated with FTP protocol - port21/20, is this exactly what you meant?

If not, you can data from a https URL, you can use curl as one of the tools available in the unix, then you can do whatever you want afterwards, load the data to TD for that matter.
