Subj:   Quit a bteq session when an error occurs

From:   Poddar, Gautam

Hi,

Actually I have created a bteq script, in which I am calling different SQL which are stored in a simple txt files but there are circumstances when I missed to copy an input file in the required dir. Then this kind error occurs but the bteq session does not quits rather it would continue calling the next file.

I know; the bteq session would stop automatically when I don't specify .set maxerror 7 but the session would not stop if I use .set maxerror 7 just after .logon.

So does any one have an idea that how to kill a bteq session when such kind of error is generated?

*** Error: Open failed because: No such file or directory

Thanks,

Gautam Poddar
