Primarily functionality.
There are a number of functional limitations when using ODBC from a .Net application.
Most of these are listed in the ReleaseNotes.htm file. (in the directory where SQLA is installed)
In some areas TD.Net will provide performance benefits over ODBC. (This will be much more noticable in the next version of the product)
