The previous answers are correct if you are using the Teradata.Net connection option in SQL Assistant 13.

You can still use an ODBC connection however. If you wish to do this with an ODBC connection then you will need to make sure the 'Disable Parsing' option in your ODBC Data Source is not checked. (Use the ODBC Administrator, or the Tools, Define Data Source option in SQL Assistant. Select the Data Source and click Configure. Then click Options.)

The .Net Framework does not allow SQL assistant to switch this option on and off as the old application used to do. The option to 'Allow use of SQL Extensions' therefore had to be removed from the application.)
