John, Thanks for explanation. But - to be honest - I think it is wrong behavior of TD engine. Both operations are legal and described in documentation: - grant execute on macro to < someone else > - using create volatile table in macro But there is no information, that we can not use them together... So worse your explanation seems to be at variance with SQL Reference: " Resolution of Nonqualified Names ....... Note that nonqualified names in DDL statements in macros are left unresolved."
