Another response pointed you to the "Provide audible notification when a query ends" option (Located on the Query tab of Options)

As they said, the 'beep' will start when the query completes and it will continue every 15 sec until you 'acknowledge' it.

You do this by:

If SQL Assistant is minimized:

- simply restore it.

If it is not minimized

- click on the Audible Notification toolbutton

- move the focus to a different child window (within SQL Assistant)

- or submit a new query.
