Are you wanting to move data between the 2 databases, or are you simply wanting to use the SQL Server client tools as a way to query data in
Teradata tables?
If you just want to query the Teradata tables you may be better off using either SQL Assistant (which can work with both Teradata and SQL
Server) or BTEQ (which is for Teradata only).
Both should be available as part of the software you received with the database. (The Teradata Tools and Utilities CDs)
