You may want to change your character set and use the EBCDIC037_0E (EBCDIC code page 37) character set translations versus the default EBCDIC translations. You will need to consult your DBA or system administrator if this is not already enabled. 1) Update the DBC.TRANSLATIONS table and set the install indicator to "Y" (requires TPARESET to take affect). 2) Once it is available you can override your load utility default and use the PARM='CHARSET=EBCDIC037_0E'. Code page 37 has better translations to western ASCII to EBCDIC translations. It handles the accented and special characters a bit better.
