Subj:   DBC Space Clean up

From:   Antony Kavin Bosco

Hi All,

I am trying to clean up some space in DBC. Apart from cleaning some data in the views, I am trying to come up with some clean up for tables also.

When going through the tables, I found that there are multiple versions for a single table like Accounts and Accounts_V2R4. Also in most of these cases, there is no data in any of the other tables, except the first version. I am not sure how and why these new tables of created.

For example, AccLogRuleTbl table has say 1000 rows of data, but AccLogRuleTbl_V2R2 and AccLogRuleTbl_V2R5 does not have any data.

Are these tables automatically created? If so, can I delete the latest versions to free up some space. Any pointers for proceeding further would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Kavin
