Thanks to all who replied, we have successfully followed the path of creating 10 separate tables and then merging them into one. One step that
was not self evident initially was using the dictionary restore 10 times in copy dictionary statements to create the 10 tables on the destination
system. Once we got this it was very easy to restore each of the cluster archives to an individual table in parallel.
Just to let you know, the archive takes around 40 minutes and the restore takes around 90 minutes with around 70 minutes for the merge, using
insert select.
