Subj:		How to determine if encryption is turned on

Hi,

I was hoping that someone could advise if there is an easy way to determine if data encryption is turned on for the Teradata system. Also is there an easy way to setup a BTEQ script from the mainframe to use data encryption. I can see from some of the Teradata manuals that you can set an environment variable or add parameters to the JCL line that calls the Load applications, but not sure how you would do this for BTEQ. From Windows it looks like you can set this up using the clisp.dat file, which I believe is for CLI, though does anyone have a sample of this file that could assist me setting one up?
