Vincent, Make sure when you check DBC's space that you check space by VPROC. Something could be skewed causing the DBC to be full on one or a few VPROCS. Best practice is to not allocate a spool reserve database and keep that space in DBC. There are some other threads. There is a BUG with some versions of Teradata 6.2.2 where the Transient Journal is not being dropped. Solution is to perform a database restart and upgrade Teradata. I don't know which versions have this bug, but I know it occurs in V2R.06.02.02.48. I know it is fixed in V2R.06.02.02.67, but I believe the fix is on earlier patches. Thanks, Bob Diehl
