Correct you will need the with delete phrase.

We always delete the data first using mload thus we are dropping empty partitions.

This is done because if you have NO RANGE or Undefined

The Delete option will not actually delete the data. It will move it the NO Range or UNDEFINED partition.

I have not verified if this is still the case in V2R6.2 or above.
