Subj:		Incremental backup in Teradata DW

Hi ,

I am working in a Teradata DW project. It's a huge system handling data volumes in TB. I am looking for a option of taking incremental backup of the system. As the data volume is very huge, full backup on tape is very time consuming option. Kindly suggest -

* What is the feasibility of taking incremental backup in this scenario ?

* What is the ideal backup solution recommended in such applications?

I 've read in some old posts in this forum that incremental backup is not supported by NetVault but possible in teradata through Journal backup only which has significant cost on performance and space. Please help.
