U could try a direct product join of two derived tables each holding info across the databases or for specific tables in the databases. MINUS and/or EXCEPT (ANSI) seem simpler. Any reason why U want to code all the complexity then parse it in your query? If Mr. Rao Nuthakki is monitoring the forum, he might take a moment to share some of his thoughts.
