All,

Will you share your views on collect stats on Index vs Column which is on Primary Index , see the following sql stmts.

     Collect stats on TABLE COLUMN "Primary Index column" ;

Vs

     Collect stats on TABLE INDEX "Primary Index column" ;

As you know the data is distributed across AMP's on PI column hash value but it will not store those values in other secondary tables like secondary indexes.

Then what will get extra benefit by using INDEX instead of COLUMN.
