DBAs, I am looking for the privileges required for granting the index access on a table where I am not the creator/owner of the table as well as NOT using DBC user. But I have ALL the accesses on that database which owns this table. But I am getting the following error while executing the command : GRANT INDEX ON The user does not have GRANT WITH INDEX OPTION TO <Databasename>.<Tablename> I have also tried to grant the "DROP TABLE" privilege to that table to the user using which I am trying to execute this command. So is there any way to grant the INDEX access on a Table even if you are not the owner/creator of the tables or you are not using DBC user? Appreciate your feedback. Thanks Bidhu Das
