Bob, Not sure of the problem. Sounds like a network issue. Here are some things to check. 1) check to make sure SAS is using tenacity. I don't think this is your problem. I believe SAS gives a better message for error of 'too many fastloads running' 2) if you have more than one host defined make sure the SAS server has only ips related to a single host in HOSTS or DNS entry. 3) You might also want to make sure the link speed and duplex settings (100 FULL, 100 half, 1000 full) on Teradata Servers are in sync with the routers. Same for link speed and duplex settings on the SAS server. 4) check to see how many sessions the SAS fastload jobs are using. It might be set way too high. Thanks, Bob Diehl
