We have a requirement to log into Teradata thru an application. Everything below is driven by security considerations.

1) Once in Teradata a process that assigns a default database based on the USER (the external application's view) takes place.

2) Once in Teradata change the USER.

Are either of these possible?

If so how?

Is it possible to use the Account string to accomplish some of this?
