Hello all,

I have a very huge table 100 GB comprising of many float values , I want to compress them

is there any better way of identifying float values whose compression will benifit ?

I tried but it looks float is quite different data type and the value stored is very different

I am looking at values like 1.00, 2.00, 3.35 occuring several times but not getting compressed at all

let me know how to compress them I am on V2R6

Thanks in advance for all replies
