When running a fastExport from Informatica on an NT Server the CTL file contains the following. ".EXPORT OUTFILE '\\.\pipe\StoreItemPrice' FORMAT FASTLOAD MODE INDICATOR;" When the dataset has a lot of columns I get the following Error. **** 08:32:33 UTY8725 Select execution completed. 308 data blocks generated. **** 08:32:38 UTY4014 Access module error '34' received during 'write' operation: 'pmunxWBuf: fwrite byte count error (Invalid argument)' **** 08:32:38 UTY8721 Error attempting to write file \\.\pipe\StoreItemPrice, return code is 12. When I take out the //./Pipe/ it writes out the file to the NT file system without error. I am running many fastExports using Informatca but it only seems to work on exports with a small number of columns. Even when the query will only return one row the fast export will fail if there are a lot of columns. Any Ideas why I am getting this error? Is there some row size limit that I maybe exceeding when using the "//./Pipe/" command? The current extract I am working with has a row length of 143. Thanks, Mike
