Is it possible to post table definitions and the explain plan of the query?

If not, then I'll just make one guess: t1.c1=t2.c1 might require an implicit data type conversion if data types of t1.c1 and t2.c1 are different.

Because of security reasons I cannot provide the table definitions, Statistics are collected regularly on the tables participating in the join operation and the join columns participating in the query of same data type, but when explain statement is collected Teradata still shows "size of the spool is estimated with low confidence", I appreciate any guesses on this.
