In regards to the question about the order of inner joins altering an explain plan, I seem to recall that the optimizer has occasionally acted differently depending on whether you code in ANSI syntax specifying "INNER JOIN" vs coding in Teradata syntax using commas. Could that be related to this question, and has anyone else had that experience?
