Subj:   8066 toshostenable message

From:   DWellman

Hi,

I'm running the V2R5.0 demo software on one of our PC's and we've just started getting logon failures. CLI applications get a CLI 207 error whilst ODBC applications get the "wsa host unreachable" error message. However if I start DBW on the same PC then I can get connected to the console, issue commands etc so the DBMS is up and running ok, we just can't talk to it.

The Windows event log shows error message "8066 Gateway has not received a toshostenable message".

Any clues as to what causes this or (more importantly) how to correct it? I'd prefer to not have to reinstall this Teradata system (it won't be the end of the world, but I'd prefer not to have to).

Cheers,

Dave
