Policy editor. Good point.

The DBA at my current assignment wants something to abort a specific user if they have been on for over 24 hrs, and idle for 10 min. I maybe got excited to use the PM API, that I did not consider any other option.

I understand that both 24hrs and 10 min is not a possible request from Teradata all at once, but looking at the 24hr and then polling for 10min. would be possible.

I am going to ask the DBA if/why policy editor won't work. It is possible that they are only using Priority Scheduler, and no longer use policy editor. Both can be used at the same time, correct? (I do realize there is different functionality in both applications) :)

Either way, I'm having too much fun with the API. This is giving me an excuse to use it, anyhow.
