Subj:   2689 Vs 3604

Hi!,

We are in the middle of a migration activity where we have to multiload a lot of tables from the old datawarehouse. Many of the tables contain over a 100 columns. In the event that we try to load a null value into a column defined not null, we get two kinds of error messages, 2689 and 3604. In the case of 2689, the error tables point out the column in error. But in the case of 3604, they dont (the manual, for 3604 states that the error handling routine could not locate the column). And since we have a lot of columns, it gets really frustrating to look and the pipe delimited files and the DDLs to try to figure out the culprit field.

Can you please let me suggest me ways to circumvent the 3604 error?

Regards
