Actually no... but it would seem others have made my point more pointedly, namely that the ROWNUM bit is entirely superfluous in Oracle and
hence the question would simply boil down to how to obtain the system date (i.e. select sysdate from dual;) which is easily converted into its
Teradata equivalent....
