We are moving from V2R3 to V2R6.1. In the process we are upgrade our user client software from tuf6.2 to tuf 8.1. Since most of our users do
not have admin rights on their desktops, a tech support staff is performing the install. We are finding that during the installation of the 8.1
ODBC driver, existing system DSNs are being deleted. We have also found that the tech staff must logoff and back on after installation is
complete to prevent dll errors during the user's initial logon.
Has anyone else experienced these anomalies? Have you found a viable solution to avoid DSN recreation?
