Hi, Why would you want to do this in Teradata? It is impossible (as far as I know) to do this in Teradata because of the way the Primary Index dictating the order of the via a Hashing Function for parallelism. In other words, it would be a moot point to "order" the data, because the PI hash would re-order it anyway and re-distribute it. In Teradata, order by only makes sense when the data will be sent to a client work-station. Hope this helps, Dan Linstedt
