Subj:   Question regarding dummy table

From:   Anomy Anom

In Oracle, there is a dummy table named dual that you can select from if necessary for hard-coded values.

For example:

     Select 'A' as value1 from dual;

By running the above statement, it would return one record:

     Value1
     A

My question in relation to this is - is there a similar table in Teradata that can be used for a similar purpose?

Thanks!
