Subj:   3841 Diagnostic CONVERT not allowed if logons are enabled

I had to copy some databases from a V2R5.1 system to a V2R6.1 system using arcmain.

At the conclusion of the copy arcmain it stated

     Execute one of the following conversion scripts:
                          post_data_restore

So I tracked down the script and tried to execute it. The script requires that logons are disabled while it runs, and kindly pauses for 90 seconds to allow logons to be disabled.

But even when I disabled logons through xgtwglobal the script would fail on statement

     DIAGNOSTIC "CONVERT" ON FOR SESSION;

with error

     *** Failure 3841 Diagnostic CONVERT not allowed if logons are enabled.

But logons certainly appeared to be disabled - any attempts to logon were failing with "Error 8033".

Despite not successfully running post_data_restore, the copied data appears fine.

Does anyone know how necessary it is to run post_data_restore? And how to get it to run?

Thanks
