Hi Vinay:
For future reference so you don't fall into a trap, the upper and lower functions (even with casespecific, which I realize now I left off my
posting except for the 'M') with the data by itself does not constitute a full numeric test. Although it is true that 0-9 do not have a
different upper and lower case, neither do most if not all of the special characters. Alpha (A-Z) is the only character range with true upper
and lower cases. So, it would be necessary to validate each digit location as well. This is the time consumer.
