This on is more about migrating from classic ASP pages to NET but it discusses the "Managed" NET objects over the "Unmanaged" COM objects

After reading this you will see use of a COM object in ASP.NET is not just as easy as add the reference and use it.

Does Teradata has a set of .NET objects to replace the COM objects? This would be a much easier route.
