I don't know whether it applies in your case but there is always a possibility that somebody else tried to use your ID and entered incorrect
passwords a few times after which your user was locked.

You do need access to certain DBC objects and DBA and network utilities to find out what exactly happened to your account. I think you will
need to contact your DBA or security officer with the request to unlock your account anyway so at the same time you could ask them to investigate
what happened. They should often be able to track down the IP address of the intruder, if there was any. Or you will just find out that a DBA
locked or perhaps even dropped the account by mistake etc.
