Subj:   Multiple performance groups for a user.

From:   Srikanth Kappagantula

Hi,

I have a Resource Partition BatchAndBackup created by

     schmon -b 1 BatchBackup 80 100

This resource partition is used for Running Backup jobs and Running ETL Jobs.

I have 3 performance groups defined.

     schmon -p 8 LBB 1 0 T 300 5 500 6
     schmon -p 9 InternalLow1 1 1 R 0.00 5
     schmon -p 10 MBB 1 2 T 700 7 900 8
     schmon -p 11 InternalMed1 1 3 R 0.00 7
     schmon -p 12 HBB 1 4 T 1100 9 1600 10 1700 11
     schmon -p 13 InternalHigh1 1 5 R 0.00 9

I have a user BackupUsr1 which we use to run the backup. To Change the Performance groups for the user

I have changed the accountName as

     Modify user BackupUsr1 as account=('$LBB$','$MBB$','$HBB$').

Whenever I try to connect to the database any time it is always logging in as LBB. Can anyone suggest me what I need to do to make it flexible to change its performance group automatically.

Pls. help it is very urgent.

Thanks and regards,

Srikanth K.
