I believe we need to have optimal packsize setup.

If you try to pack more than what TPUMP could handle, there will be extra overhead on TPUMP to determine the optimal value.

You could only get this by trial and error method.

Or you could set packmaximum and check what TPUMP sets the threshold at.

It is not a good idea to have this feature as each time TPUMP needs to calculate this value for us.

Also SERIALIZE option may also help.
