In this SQL, the PI is column A, this SQL is actually on a view (Col A referred in the view is the PI in the table).

Even on trying this SQL it gives the same error.

     select distinct cast(
            cast(A as char(10))||
            cast(B as char(60))
            as char(70))
     from DEV.VIEW
     where trim(A) <> 'NA'
     and trim(A) <> ''
     ;
