Excellent point, you are correct. I retract my earlier statement, (never argue with a Master). I only meant that the difference was that when the index was dropped, you lost the stats. I did not realize that single column INDEX stats remained. However, I am bit surprised / (disturbed) by the multicolumn stats collected on columns that are defined as an index. Strange behavior, any explanation as to why the differentiation? I would want the stats to stay if an index was dropped :/, unfortunately that is not the case. Regards, Eric Barner
