Here's one example

     CT TEMP (
     PI_COL INT NOT NULL
     ,Null_Col CHAR(10) COMPRESS) Unique Primary Index(PI_COL);

You cannot compress all columns.

There are some restrictions, you may want to go thru DB design document.
