Thanks for the insight!

That answers a few things for me

Yes the ODBC 3.05.00.04 works in my case, but it caused unrelated issues in testing for enterprise deployment .

We are evaluating ODBC 3.05.00.05. now and it looks promising.

For the meantime, I will consider the 'AAA' option for client apps, and Application server ODBC connections.
