They are talking about the 2GB (*the* issue for that time but not anymore) or some settings of ulimit as possible cause of the problem.

For example, on my Solaris client I have the following settings

     ulimit -a

     time(seconds)        unlimited
     file(blocks)         unlimited
     data(kbytes)         unlimited
     stack(kbytes)        8192
     coredump(blocks)     unlimited
     nofiles(descriptors) 256
     vmemory(kbytes)      unlimited

Can you post the settings for your user?

You might need to contact NCR Support if the error is consistent.
