<-- Anonymously Posted: Thursday, August 17, 2006 08:53 --> Hi, I am observing trailing spaces truncation when converting data from oracle to teradata using utilities . Ex :-- In Oracle varchar field having data like 'abcd ' after loading into teradata utilitity (tpump/ mload) trimimg the trailing space by default and the data in teradata table is like 'abcd' i checked the lenghth of the field and using like operation i can make the differentiation . but equal operation worked fine . Is there any way to restrict this. Thanks
