Be cautious when saving ddl offline. I've found cases where if the ddl is fairly complex, the show object command (which I use to store offline) doesn't capture all of it. I am assuming because it exceeds some size limit that the show object uses to retrieve the ddl.

Perhaps someone from NCR could elaborate further.
