  This seems to imply that you think that the OLE DB access module is inefficient. On what basis do you make this implication? Because for large LOAD jobs we've found OLE DB to be very efficient.  


Sorry about that ... I meant to emphasize that it was easier to use. Perhaps I should have said something like "ease of use is the primary consideration."

Off the top of one's head, one would think that OLE DB would be slightly less efficient than hand-coded FastLoads that read MVS data sets directly, but perhaps one would be mistaken.
