Teradata Administrator only displays the Query Logging rules for the selected user(s), or for rules that apply to all users. (If the 'All' box is checked) In order to find whether ANY rules are currently defined issue the statement: SELECT * FROM dbc.DBQLRules (with whatever ORDER BY makes sense to you) Unless you have created a job to remove information from the log files it will remain there indefinately. It is generally recommended that you move the data to your own 'copy' of the tables for future analysis. (Probably as a daily job) Teradata Manager offers an option to delete QueryLOg records after a specified number of days. Set this up using the 'Data Collection' tab of 'Configure, Teradata Manager'. Then schedule this task to run daily... or at your desired frequency. Mike Dempsey
