We have been trying to import small Microsoft Access tables into Teradata using MSAccess 2000.

When the table has a column with a text data type we get "... unsupported finfotype (#0)" error.

If we limit the table to numeric and decimal data types the import will work just fine. If we use a date or char data type we get the error.

We have tried ODBC version 3.2.0.0 and 3.3.0.5 and 3.4.0.0 and 3.4.0.1 all with the same results.

I noticed a few other message in the Teradata archives about this but no replies to them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
