Hi, I have a prooblem with the newline character when i?m doing a BTEQ EXPORT. In my case:

I've stored this in a table:

     Select
     *
     >From
     MyTable;

There is "Enter's" (or NewLines) after the words Select, *, From and My Table; .

If I do a Select en SQL Assistant and then Copy/Paste the result in a Text Editor (like UltraEdit), I can see the NewLines.

But my problem is when I Try to do a BTEQ EXPORT under Unix.

In the Output file, it replaces de NewLine characters by Spaces characters....why? Is there any setting in the BTEQ EXPORT for this problem?
