Hi, Certainly this is not a issue with queryman installation. There are some antivirus programs those if detect certain viruses, delete this ssa3d30.ocx file. This I could detect after looking at the log file of one such antivirus program. Find below sample cut out from the log file . This log has been taken from a PC where queryman does not work after reboot. I could not understand much about this log, but understand that this is the place where the problem is happening.
Load Damage Cleanup Template (DCT) "C:\Program Files\Trend
Micro\OfficeScan Client\tmadce.ptn" (version 145) [success]
ADW_BONJING.A[virus found]
-->delete file("C:\WINNT\system32\ssa3d30.ocx","","") success
-->modify registry value("n/a","Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main","Start Page") success
I am still not able to find , why this ocx is deleted when it finds the virus. Is the ocx infected?? Regards, Rachana
